What is downinflorida.com?  Let me start by saying, this site's focus is as much for the native Floridian, as the tourists.  You'd be surprised how many "natives" don't know what Florida has to offer.  I'm an outdoorsman, yet I find myself being surprised all the time of time.  This is a site that is dedicated to some of the coolest, off the beaten path adventures & events this state has to offer.  We want to show you that there is more to Florida then theme parks & bugs.  So, if you're looking beyond the typical vacation or adventure you have found the right place to help you navigate your next trip through the real Florida.  Our goal is to be the "easy" button of online searches.  Our focus is outdoor adventures, but not exclusively.  We cover the best camping, the best guided & self guided kayaking trips, mountain biking trails, some of the best surf spots, motorcycle rides, art shows, film premiers that this state has to offer.  Most don't realize that Florida has some of the best mountain bike trails in the southeast United States.  As we progress with this little venture you will find GPS coordinates, along with topo maps.  We we also the best shops & vendors to assist you in undertaking your adventures.  We want to thank you for taking the time to stop & look at this site & look forward to any feedback.
